Remit
The scope of the Ministry of Mobility and Public Works is defined by the Government regulation.
The Ministry is in charge of:
- The general transport policy, including but not limited to mobility planning, public transport services, road traffic management, railways, road transport and inland navigation, and
- the general public works policy, including government buildings and roads.
Within the framework of its responsibilities, it is the supervisory ministry for the following administrations and directorate:

On 10 and 11 June 2026, Luxembourg will take part in the Cyber Europe 2026 exercise, organised by the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) and coordinated at national level by the High Commission for National Protection (HCPN).
