Campaigns

The Ministry of Mobility and Public Works regularly organises themed awareness and prevention campaigns targeting the general public, with the aim of:

• improving road safety by reminding the public of safety rules and the dangers of certain practices;
• encouraging the use of environmentally friendly alternatives to private car travel;
• provide information on issues related to travel and transport;
• encourage responsible behaviour and discourage risky behaviours.

The campaigns, run in partnership with the Grand Ducal Police, the Sécurité routière a.s.b.l. and other stakeholders, are fundamental educational and informational tools for raising awareness among all road and public transport users. 

The aim is to raise awareness in order to prevent risks and encourage the public to adopt appropriate behaviour.
