On 20 November 2019, François Bausch, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Mobility and Public Works, attended the Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona.
François Bausch visited the 11 exhibitors at the Luxembourg pavilion, and was introduced to the various projects. After the visit, the Minister held a speech on the mobility strategy "Modu 2.0" and the considerable investments in infrastructures that aim to promote multimodality.
In the evening, François Bausch participated in a high-level plenary session on the theme of mobility in cities, called "Cities to Move on: Embracing all forms of Mobility".
"It makes no sense to put regulation in place if you don't have alternatives. We need to change the way we organize cities" said François Bausch during his speech.
